We all know Louboutins are pricey to splurge on, but atleast we have a cheaper option for the holidays to indulge in edible Louboutins from sugar envy. These red-soled loubs look good enough to eat !!!!

Pretty in Pink

While the film depicts a typical "girl meets boy, boy likes girl" storyline, Pretty in Pink (1986) by John Hughes is an instant 80's classic for me. The girl in me can't help but love Molly Ringwald's persona, Andie, who endures teenage struggles revolving around prom & boys.  Although the thrifted pink dress she designs for prom is well, hideous, I see it as a breakout point on conquering her fears of rejection and indifference amongst her wealthier peers.  Showing up to prom with a self-made dress was Andie's statement of being comfortable with her individuality and in essence, her style.

Today I woke up on a rainy day to have breakfast with my cousin, friend & sister. We stuffed ourselves with stacks of pancakes covered with nutella, along with bacon & coffee.  As for the rest of the day, I plan on staying warm and going to the movies. stay dry- I know I will thanks to my trusty rainboots.*

While the anticipation for the Lanvin collaboration with H&M is at its peak for a lot of people, after viewing the photos from the fashion show, I'm "on to the next one" a la Jay Z's song. Although a lot of dresses would be great for New Year's Eve parties & some cocktail parties, it's a little flamboyant for my taste. Don't get me wrong, I love everything from the presentation, the creative ads, to a lot of the looks, but I don't see myself actually wearing it (excluding the dresses I posted on top, which I love). I like to be sincere when I post photos on my blog, and not base it primarily on the hype. Will any of you guys be visiting H&M stores up & early tomorrow? Let me know how that goes !
