Time to seal the year with a quick photo recap of a slew of ladies that made 2011 a fashionable one. I repeated a few people, because well, why not? And yes, I did leave out Kate Middleton out on purpose—the girl (fine, Dutchess) received more exposure than all of these stylish ladies combined. This has nothing to do with me wanting to be in her Princess-shoes, or anything. Nada.

Why, hello there, stylish Kitty— A very fancy-shmancy Hello Kitty graces the glossy covers of ELLE Taiwan December issue in honor of the publication's 20th anniversary. HK—the most famous feline of them all—dons a pink feathered frock, rhinestone embellished hairbow (hello, bedazzler), satin boots with gem encrusted soles and bejeweled bangle for even more sparkle. In the second shot she wears a polka dotted dress, signature pink hairbow, pearls, and black flats to complete the retro look. You guys, I'm sensing a fashion movement here: classic animal characters wearing couture and flaunting it in front of cameras. Remember Miss Piggy's big fashion moment?
